Online photos of SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo Man in China fuel rumors that he may return to idol. Lee Soo Man was reportedly seen in China with producer Yoo Young Jin and a bunch of young male youths. Many believed Lee Soo Man hand-selected the young male youths as idol trainees. Lee Soo Man registered for a trademark for A20 Entertainment in May. Lee Soo Man’s stock purchase deal with HYBE Labels forbids him from promoting in the Korean entertainment industry as a competitor until 2026. Whether this extends to international idol industry is uncertain.
