2PM’s Taecyeon To Star As Gay Lead In Upcoming Drama ‘Soul Mate In The Next Japanese Netflix Drama

“Soul Mate,” 2PM’s Taecyeon plays the role of the gay protagonist. “Set in Berlin, Seoul, and Tokyo, the series chronicles a love story between two men that spans a decade,” Netflix announced on June 27 alongside the teaser image below. “Scroll” and “More Than Words” are both written and directed by Shunki Hashizume. Acclaimed for his work in ‘Alice in Borderland,’ ‘Kinou Nani Tabeta?,’ ‘Kamen Rider Ghost,’ and many more, legendary Japanese actor Hayato Isomura will co-star with Taecyeon. While Isomura Hayato plays the character of boxer Johan, Taecyeon plays the role of Johan, who avoids confronting his emotional wounds.
