To submit a record on the platform is quite easy and simple; all you have to do is login to the website with google login and then click on “CREATE POST” or SUBMIT POST button. Add a title, then write a short or long article about the record, citing sources if you can, add image and submit post. It will be reviewed by our team and if cleared, it will be published to the public under the “General Records” category, but if it is a super notable record deserving a certificate, it will be published under the “Certified Records” category by our team.

To submit a record on the platform, kindly confirm the record is true and not false in any way before posting. If a record can’t be verified by our team, it will not be published. And if a record is published under the “General Records” category and later disputed with factual sources, it will be updated accordingly.

What Qualifies for Notable Certified Records?

Well, we can’t simply list them all out here, but you could look into our certified records library and see the kinds of records considered to be notable enough for a certificate.

Some rules to note for notable records:

Gender-limited records within the K-pop industry will be grouped under the General Records Library. But notable records limited by gender on a global stage can be grouped under the Certified Records Library. E.G “IU is the first female K-pop soloist to surpass a billion streams on spotify will be grouped under the General records” BUT IU becomes the first female artist to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify will be grouped on the “Certified Records”

CHART RECORDS LIMITATION:

Only major charts popular on global stages like Billboard HOT100, GLOBAL 200, and a few more can be grouped under certified section; others will be grouped under the general records section.

YEAR LIMIATIONS

Records limited by year will be grouped under then general records library and not the certified records library, e.g “Most viewed 2023 Kpop music video in the first 24 Hours” will be under the general records section. But “The Most Viewed Kpop Music Video In The First 24 Hours” Or The Most Viewed Kpop Music Video By A Soloist In The First 24 Hours” will Be grouped under the certified records library.

BROKEN RECORDS AND RECORDS UPDATE:

The K-pop industry can be highly competitive that some records get broken within a few days, but when a record has already been added here, they will not be removed but the article will be updated to note that the record has been broken, the records will still be on each artist’s or groups’s profile in the library.
