4th-generation male idol departed his boy group when his license was revoked for drunk driving.
Boy band DKB’s agency, Brave Entertainment, said on November 6th:
“Hello. This is Brave Entertainment.
First, we regret to DKB fans for bad news.
We confirmed that our artist Teo was arrested for drunk driving on October 30th and had his license suspended. We reminded Teo that drunk driving is never acceptable.
We chose to drop Teo from the team after serious debate and adopting their opinion that they cannot avoid harming the group. Teo is contemplating his immaturity.
We understand the gravity of this occurrence and will work hard in artist management, education, and other areas. We apologize for fan anxiety.
DKB will reorganize with an 8-person team and continue operations. We will fully back DKB in their return with more mature music and performances. Fans should provide unconditional support for the 8 DKB members, who are trying to make a comeback despite obstacles.
The repackaged “We Love You” album by DKB was released in August. Their November comeback was hampered by Teo’s departure, therefore they’ll promote the new record with 8 members instead of 9.
The Brave Entertainment boy group DKB is Brave Girls’ “younger brother group” (now “BB Girls”).
