NewJeans’ ‘Get Up’ Continues Billboard Run To Success




The US Billboard main album chart has featured NewJeans for 6 months.


On January 9 KST, NewJeans’ second EP, ‘Get Up,’ debuted at 110th on the ‘Billboard 200.’ The EP has already spent 24 weeks on the chart, making it the longest-running 4th-generation K-pop record.


For 26 weeks, “Super Shy,” the EP’s title tune, has topped global charts. In ‘Global (outside the United States),’ the song rose 72 places from the previous week to 65th. It rose 101 spots on the ‘Global 200,’ to 87th.


The popularity of NewJeans’ prior singles has also returned. Their 2023 hit, “Ditto,” rose 65 ranks to 63rd in ‘Global (excluding the United States)’ and ‘Global 200.’ “OMG” returned to the ‘Global 200’ at 131st place after rising 66 places to 76th in ‘Global (excluding the United States)’.
