On February 1, Tak Jae Hoon’s YouTube show ‘No Back Tak’ featured (G)I-DLE member Yuqi.

Yuqi declared on this episode that (G)I-DLE would return with “Super Lady”, a confident new song.

When discussing Yuqi’s Instagram followers, Tak Jae Hoon remarked, “When does your contract with your company expire?”


Yuqi smiled, “I only have about a year and 3 months left.” Tak Jae Hoon replied, “You just seemed really excited about that.” Co-host Shin Gyu Jin said, “That was the only genuine smile you showed this whole time”.



Tak Jae Hoon asked Yuqi, “Was that a year and 6 months now?” again. Yuqi commented, “Three months! No, four months? It’s been 1 year, 3 months.”

Jokingly, Shin Gyu Jin said, “You remind me of? When lads go for the military. They count the days until discharge every day.” Yuqi replied, “No, no, I love Cube.”

(G)I-DLE debuted in May 2018, therefore Cube Entertainment will renew their exclusive contract in 2025.
