BTS’s Jimin Wins ‘Music Video Of The Year’ For ‘Set Me Free Pt. 2’

Jimin’s music video for “Set Me Free Pt. 2″ won first place in the ‘Music Video of the Year’ category at the ‘2023 Mubeat Awards’ held by the global fandom platform ‘Mubeat’ from January 15 to January 29, 2023.
Out of the 20 strong candidates based on the number of views on the Mubeat video chart, Jimin’s music video for “Set Me Free Pt. 2″ received a total of 1,571,486 votes and won first place with a 63.2% voting rate.

The music video features a fierce guitar riff and a dynamic performance by Jimin in a confined space. The lyrics of the song are about breaking free from the constraints of others, and Jimin’s powerful vocals and emotive performance bring the message to life.

Jimin also contributed to the songwriting, composition, and music video production for the album “FACE.” In the pre-release song “Set Me Free Pt. 2,” he appears in a vintage look wearing a black tank top, leather jacket, cargo pants, and combat boots. In the final scene, he changes into a contrasting white outfit, symbolizing the song’s message of “set me free.“
