BTS successfully reclaimed its position on the esteemed Billboard 200 chart with its third studio album, ‘Love Yourself: Tear’, which marked a remarkable comeback. Re-emerging at number 92, the album, which was initially published in 2018, returned after a span of 5 years and 6 months.
“Love Yourself: Tear” not only achieved a re-entry into the Billboard 200 but also achieved noteworthy positions on the ‘World Album’ and ‘Top Album Sales’ indexes, precisely third and fifth, respectively. Re-entering the ‘World Digital Single Sales’ chart at number one, the album’s title single “Fake Love” also achieved notable success.
The resurgence of ‘Love Yourself: Tear’ can be attributed to its recent release on LP format, which began distribution in various countries earlier this year. The album’s shipment in the United States in late February likely contributed to its strong performance on the Billboard charts. Additionally, the LP version of ‘Love Yourself: Tear’ debuted at the top spot on the ‘Vinyl Album’ chart.
