JYP Entertainment Declares Legal Action Against Rights Violations By Artists

A statement from JYP Entertainment about legal action taken against artists’ rights infringement was released on March 14.

See the statement in its entirety below:

Hi there, JYP Entertainment here.

We would like to provide you with an update on the legal actions that are being pursued in response to the unapproved posts, false rumors, and defamatory statements about our artists that are making their rounds on social media and online forums.

Our artists have been the target of malicious content that has been posted and shared by others, and we have been actively collecting evidence against them. In order to take advantage of every legal avenue, we are presently collaborating with professional legal companies.

It is obviously against the law to post and distribute harmful content that violates the rights of our artists. JYP Entertainment would not accept any compromise or indulgence in its aggressive legal action.

Furthermore, the frequent gathering of derogatory posts against our artists and the ensuing legal measures are conducted. We sincerely request that fans maintain their attention and provide frequent updates. (jype.com/fan)
