Insiders Claims That In February Of Last Year, Ryu Joon Yeol And Hyeri Made The Decision To “Break” Their Relationship

Rumors that Han So Hee, Ryu Joon Yeol, and actress Hyeri were in a “transit relationship” have been dispelled by industry sources.

Previously, Hyeri stated that she “had initially agreed to talk things out with Ryu Joon Yeol after the breakup reports in November [of 2023], but in the end, [they] did not meet or contact each other after that agreement.”

Some online users conjectured that Ryu Joon Yeol had not ended things amicably with Hyeri before starting a new relationship with Han So Hee, in part because of Hyeri’s statement that they had decided to try and “talk things out,” when dating rumors about the two surfaced last week.

Industry sources, however, claim that Hyeri’s statement that she and Ryu Joon Yeol would “talk things out” was only a formality and not an indication of any unresolved love between the two celebrities.

Hyeri and Ryu Joon Yeol reportedly chose to take a “break” from their romance in February 2023 while Hyeri was preoccupied with filming her movie “Victory,” according to news sources dated March 21 KST. As Ryu Joon Yeol failed to show up on Hyeri’s birthday in June, the “break”—which was essentially code for a “break up”—was revealed.

Media representatives started getting in touch with Hyeri and Ryu Joon Yeol’s sides in July or August to verify reports of their breakup. On the other hand, neither side responded clearly right away. An insider remarked, “You see that with long-term relationships.” They find it challenging to state the conclusion clearly.”

Moreover, the insider continued, “They only had one in-person meeting together last year. They had already split up, very much. It must have been obvious to Hyeri that the phrase “let’s try to talk it out” was merely a formality. It would be a stretch to describe their connection as a “transit relationship.”
