Kang Kyung Joon’s Affair Lawsuit Has Been Transferred And May Be Merged With His Divorce Case.

The court’s decision to transfer the case suggests a possible merger with a de facto divorce action, which might lead to a significant turn in the legal battle over actor Kang Kyung Joon’s alleged infidelity.

Recently, the 209th Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court made a ruling to transfer Mr. A’s damages complaint against Kang Kyung Joon, who was accused of adultery. The initial purpose of this case was to seek 50 million won in alimony as a result of an alleged affair between Kang Kyung Joon and Mr. A’s wife.

The affair was brought to light by leaked text messages, which caused Kang Kyung Joon’s agency and the production team of ‘The Return of Superman,’ in which the actor was appearing, to release statements. As a result, the scandal escalated.

Kang Kyung Joon took a defensive legal position by submitting a power of attorney to the court, even though reports circulated about possible agreements between the parties.

Mr. A asked to have the litigation transferred after expressing his intention not to attend mediation, which may have been an indication of an impending divorce filing, after the court had decided to refer the case to mediation. Nevertheless, the court’s decision to delay the mediation date suggests a possible change in the legal approach.

Kang Kyung Joon has been a member of Jang Shin Young’s family since 2018, and they have two sons together.
