Sam D, aka Simon Dominic, has left AOMG after his exclusive deal expired. On April 22, SpotvNews reported that the rapper left the company.
AOMG has been defined by Simon Dominic since its founding. Dominic joined Jay Park’s 2013 label in 2014 and worked as co-CEO until 2018, representing AOMG as a major artist for ten years. Since CEO DJ Pumpkin resigned, AOMG has lost Gray, Woo Won Jae, Lee Hi, and Code Kunst. His departure is crucial.
AOMG said, “We mutually agreed to end our artist contract with Simon Dominic in February and are completing the arrangements. Both labels and artists will work hard until everything is sorted.”
Simon Dominic started in 2005 and became famous in 2007 as part of Supreme Team. He is now a Korean hip-hop icon. Besides music, he has appeared in “Witch Hunt,” “Somebody,” “I Live Alone,” “Show Me the Money,” and “High School Rapper.” He was member of MSG Wannabe on “Hangout with Yoo”.
