On Her Route To The Slander Trial Proceeding Against Kang Daniel, YouTuber Sojang Was Observed

On her approach to the courtroom for her trial against Kang Daniel, YouTuber Sojang was seen. She is accused of making billions of won by creating videos based on damaging allegations about celebrities. Kang Daniel is the defendant in this case. The hearing for Sojang (last name Park), who is charged of defamation and slander, took place on May 27th in the Seoul Central District Court. A lawsuit was filed against her in 2022, alleging that she had slandered Kang Daniel by posting fake information on her YouTube channel. As a result of the fact that she has been shooting recordings without disclosing her identity, Sojang found herself in the public eye for the very first time on her way to the courtroom. Sojang reportedly responded that she is the proprietor of an online shopping mall, as reported by Dispatch, which was the one that captured her in front of the court. It was claimed by Dispatch that Sojang declined to answer any additional questions while she was wearing a wig with the intention of concealing her face throughout the trial. During the course of the trial, Sojang’s side conceded that she had created and uploaded the aforementioned video, but she asserted that she had a sincere belief that the content was accurate. Before that, Sojang was unsuccessful in the initial trial for slander that he brought against Wonyoung of IVE. Following the conclusion of the lawsuit, she was subsequently forced to pay Wonyoung one hundred million won. The court also took possession of her assets, which included real estate and deposit bonds, and the total amount was about 200 million won, which is equivalent to 146,337.89 USD. To prevent Sojang from possibly escaping before her punishment hearing, the seizure was carried out for the purpose of preventing her from escaping.
