Belift Lab posted a video on its official YouTube account on June 10. In a video titled “Belift Lab’s position on plagiarism allegations,” the company refuted the charge made by ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. CEO Kim Tae Ho, Deputy CEO Choi Yoon Hyuk, visual director Heo Se Ryun, and performance director Myung Sang Woo were among the Belift Lab representatives that were included in the video. They put up a number of documents, claiming that ILLIT was an innovative group that created its own story and had unique ideas. The administrators, however, claimed that other organizations were imitating NewJeans and vice versa, which is why the video attracted criticism. At present, the contentious video has garnered over 26,000 comments, the great majority of which are critical. There have been conjectures that Belief Lab has been instantly eliminating unfavorable remarks. On June 11, Belief Lab clarified two things regarding this: “Belief Lab has not deleted any comments on the position video,” and “The claim that Belief Lab is selectively deleting specific comments is false.” We are getting ready to take legal action against the people disseminating this dangerous false information, which will involve obtaining proof.”
