The First K-Pop Headliners At Morocco’s MAWAZINE Festival Are ATEEZ

The 23rd (local time) ‘MAWAZINE’ Festival in Rabat, Morocco, featured ATEEZ as headliners. Their performance on ‘OLM SOUISSI’ lasted almost an hour. Since 2001, ‘MAWAZINE’ has become a popular music festival that draws 2.5 million people. ATEEZ was the ‘first K-pop artist’ invited. ATEEZ started their show with a magnificent flag routine and ‘WIN’ off their debut full album ‘TREASURE EP.FIN : All To Action’. The audience was enthralled by their ‘ATEEZ’ flag-themed dance. With lyrics like “Our ship only goes one way” and “Just go, there’s a way ahead,” they were confident onstage. They ignited the crowd with spectacular performances of ‘Say My Name’ and ‘Guerrilla’, demonstrating their strong energy and engaging stage presence.

In her inaugural address, ATEEZ said, “We love Morocco. The Sahara Desert was where we filmed our initial song’s music video, so it seems like home.” “We want to make today an unforgettable day.” They next performed their debut song ‘Pirate King’, followed by ‘Answer’, ‘ARRIBA’, and ‘DJANGO’, a diverse setlist with spectacular stage effects that delighted all the senses. During ‘Good Lil Boy’ and ‘WAVE’, ATEEZ roamed the stage and interacted with the audience, proving their headlining status. They performed ‘Crazy Form’ and ‘I’m The One’ passionately and flawlessly, establishing their reputation as ‘artists you can trust to deliver’. ATEEZ thanked ATINY and fans before their farewell performance, adding, “We appreciate your support. We are excited to return to our roots and thank you for your warm welcome. This will always be remembered.” The title tune ‘WORK’ from their 10th mini album was followed by the lively ‘BOUNCY (K-HOT CHILLI PEPPERS)’ to end the show. ATEEZ will perform at Nihon TV’s ‘BEAT AX Vol.4’ at Makuhari Messe on the 28th and 29th.
