Na PD Contrasts ‘Jinny’s Kitchen’ Season 1 Intern BTS’s V With

TvN’s ‘Jinny’s Kitchen’ season 2 cast attended a press conference for the show’s premiere on June 28 KST! Season 2 of ‘Jinny’s Kitchen’ will see Lee Seo Jin, Jung Yoo Mi, Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Sik, and Go Min Si opening a Korean restaurant in Iceland serving his favorite cuisine. Besides the location change, season 2 will introduce Go Min Si, a new intern. She will replace BTS’s V from season 1 while he does his military obligation. Na Young Suk PD explained why Go Min Si was chosen as the season 2 intern: “We researched young, emerging stars. Go Min Si is a wonderful actress who is working hard to promote her profession, but we learned that she performed various jobs before becoming an actress. The public may think the workplace is informal, yet there is a system. Go Min Si could adapt to this strategy and help the squad, we thought. Go Min Si was promoted fast as a wedding coordinator. She’d fit perfectly well here, I thought.” Na Young Suk PD then contrasts V and Go Min Si, the interns. “V exhibited human qualities in season one, but our show is about running a restaurant. A fake restaurant. If introducing Korean food to locals was our main purpose, we should invite expert chefs. Creating a team of actors and opening a restaurant abroad also teaches them about cuisine, cooking, and business. V’s engaging character, wit, and struggles as a young worker were shown in season one “Producer said. He added, “Go Min Si’s case is distinct. While she is a youthful worker, she is also someone with experience and expertise who wants to be recognized and see results. They play different roles. I hope viewers can see those inherent differences.” ‘Jinny’s Kitchen’ premieres on tvN on June 28 at 8:40 PM KST and on Prime Video worldwide.
