ILLIT Remains Prominent On Billboard Charts

ILLIT remains prominent on US Billboard charts. On July 6, KST, Billboard’s ‘Global (Excl. US)’ and ‘Global 200’ charts placed ILLIT’s debut mini album ‘SUPER REAL ME’ and its title track “Magnetic” at 20th and 30th, respectively, marking their 14th consecutive week on these charts. Previously, “Magnetic” debuted at 91 on the Hot 100. ILLIT became the first K-pop group to have both their debut single and album chart on Billboard’s main charts when ‘SUPER REAL ME’ arrived at 93. “Magnetic” reached 80 on the Official Singles Top 100 in the UK, a record for a K-pop debut song. In its 11th week on the Oricon Weekly Streaming Ranking in Japan, “Magnetic” reached 100 million streams faster than any other female group. Billboard declared ILLIT’s success “unprecedented for a K-pop debut.” ILLIT was crowned ‘K-pop Rookie of the Month’ for June 2024, citing their high performance on the ‘Global 200’ and ‘Global (Excl. US)’ charts as proof of their international popularity.
