SM Entertainment Responds To Threats Made Against AESPA Winter

SM Entertainment responded to aespa’s Winter’s threats.

On August 8, SM Entertainment disclosed that a post containing a threat against Winter was published on an online community forum yesterday, and the label has since filed a formal police report and requested an investigation. Yesterday, a threat against Winter’s safety was posted on a community platform, according to SME. Upon confirmation, we submitted a formal complaint with the police against the poster and requested prompt investigative assistance.”

The label continued, “We have increased security personnel, and today, during aespa’s departure, we coordinated efforts with security personnel and airport police to assure a safe departure. Additionally, the police have received numerous reports recently. Yesterday and today, they visited our agency’s headquarters to verify safety and security conditions. We will continue to safeguard the well-being of our artists.”
