‘Study Group’ Has Cast Hwang Min Hyun As The Male Lead In School Action Drama

The idol/actor Hwang Min Hyun of the currently airing tvN fantasy romance series ‘My Lovely Liar’ has acquired ‘Study Group’ as his next project.

Based on the popular webcomic of the same name, ‘Study Group’ tells the story of Yoon Ga Min, a young high school student with an aptitude for fistfights. Ga Min wishes to become a student who earns good grades, so he starts a study group at his high school with the intention of entering college.

Hwang Min Hyun will portray Yoon Ga Min, who at first glimpse appears to be a stereotypical bookworm with his fair skin and spectacles. Once you get to know him, you discover that he has the lowest grade point average at a high school known for anomalies. Ga Min must protect his study group members from peril in order to gain admission to college.
