On the “CRUSH HOUR in Jakarta” stage, which took place on Tuesday, August 8, in Kota Kasablanka Hall, Jakarta, Crush appears to have given an all-out performance as the final concert of his 2023 Asia Tour series.
Since the first song, the 1992-born singer-songwriter has performed his collaboration with BTS J-Hope, “RUSH HOUR,” with great vigour. The entire section stood to watch the performance, chanting and dancing along with the music. In addition, he continued to release additional successful songs, including “Hey Baby,” “Ibiza,” “2411,” “NAPPA,” “Sometimes,” and “Crush On You.”
On the periphery of his appearance, he also joked with admirers and spoke a few Indonesian words. Fans were astonished when he asked, “Emang boleh segemes ini?” which translates to “How can you be this cute?” Fans were also entertained by his behaviour impersonating translators. He is indeed a talented and humorous person. His performances continued with “Butterfly,” “Don’t Be Shy,” “She Said (with BIBI),” and “Just.”
When Crush announced that he would sing one of the OSTs from the Korean drama so beloved by Indonesian fans, the affecting mood ultimately began. The piano chords introduced his performance of “Let Us Go,” which is the OST for “Crash Landing On You,” followed by the 2017 release of the fan-favorite OST “Beautiful” from the OST for “Goblin.” Then he returned with his all-time ballad “SOFA,” followed by a slight medley of “Fall” and “With You,” and another soothing song by him and his ensemble, “Stevie Wonderlust.”
The excitement continued with the songs “Ohio,” “Hug Me,” “Skip,” and “OASIS.” The admirers were so captivated by Crush’s charismatic performance that they danced and sang with such vigour as if they didn’t want the concert to end. However, the show has attained its conclusion. His duets with Girl’s Generation member Taeyeon, “Outside” and “Don’t Forget,” concluded the concert.
