After ‘Guardian: The Lonely And Great God’ Was Successful, Gong Yoo Felt Anxious.

After ‘Guardian: The Lonely and Great God’ was successful, Gong Yoo felt anxious.

On the September 29th Chuseok special of ‘Pinggyego’, Gong Yoo said, “Yes, I’ve felt anxious. I don’t know how you’ll take this, but I had it in my 20s and 30s.”

The actor added, “I can’t express my anxiety. I wasn’t happy when ‘Guardian: The Lonely and Great God’ did well. Though I was glad it went well, I felt hollow and couldn’t wake up. The work wasn’t hard or bad, but I didn’t love the spotlight when initiatives succeeded.”

According to Gong Yoo, sharing was difficult. “Saying this is difficult. If my heart felt odd, it sounds like I’m not appreciative, but other people should be so joyful they feel like they’re flying in the clouds. After that horrible time, I saw people differently. I was nosy because I didn’t want them to hurt.”
