Actress Cha Chung Hwa Announces Engagement

Cha Chung Hwa, an actress, is getting married.

On October 11 KST, her agency, IOK Company, declared, “Cha Chung Hwa will marry a younger businessman in a private ceremony in Seoul on October 27.”

“As the prospective groom is not a household name, we respectfully ask for your comprehension that we are unable to elaborate on his personal details,” they continued.

It is well known that Cha Chung Hwa and her soon-to-be spouse were longtime friends who eventually developed a romantic relationship. The prospective groom does not work in the entertainment business, therefore the pair has chosen a private wedding, which will make the event more intimate and personal.

Since making her screen debut in 2005, Cha Chung Hwa has been aggressively pursuing her acting career; she is well recognized for her role in the movie “Crash Landing on You.” She has acted in dramas including “Mr. King,” “Hometown Cha Cha Cha,” and “See You in My 19th Life.”
