‘Super Shy’ from NewJeans establishes a new record for the quickest Spotify self-record with 300 million plays.

For the seventh time in their career, the K-pop trio NewJeans has joined Spotify’s esteemed 300 million streaming club.

As of October 23, NewJeans’ triple-title tune “Super Shy” from their second mini-album “Get Up” had received over 300,106,5169 listens on Spotify, one of the biggest music platforms in the world. Remarkably, after just 108 days after the song’s release, this milestone was attained. With this accomplishment, “Super Shy” becomes the New Jeans song to reach 300 million Spotify plays the quickest.

The song “Super Shy” is the highest-ranking NewJeans record on the Spotify chart. The song remained in the charts for more than a year, peaking at number four on the Spotify Global Chart and ninth on the Spotify U.S. Daily Top Songs chart. As of October 19, it was still appearing on the Weekly Top Songs chart for 15 weeks straight, with a global rating of 9th and a U.S. ranking of 12th. This was NewJeans’ highest-ranking achievement to date.

Nine tracks by NewJeans have received more than 100 million Spotify streams altogether. “Ditto” and “Hype Boy” have amassed over 400 million streams each, “OMG” has crossed 500 million streams, “Super Shy” and “Attention” have amassed over 300 million streams, while “Cookie,” “Hurt,” “New Jeans,” and “ETA” have each scored over 100 million streams.
