Jo Jin Woong might join ‘No Way Out’ after Lee Sun Gyun leaves due to drug controversy.

An entertainment industry official told one media outlet on October 30 KST, “Jo Jin Woong was offered the lead role in ‘No Way Out’. The actor also revealed he is evaluating the script after his part offer.”

The forthcoming drama series ‘No Way Out’ follows a convicted criminal following his parole. Detective Baek Joong Sik must shield the murderer from the public after a 20 billion won bounty is set. Lee Sun Gyun was supposed to play Detective Baek Joong Sik, but he quit once his drug scandal broke. Before casting the lead, the production agency is reportedly recording the other actors’ scenes.

After being named the top star booked for drug use, Lee Sun Gyun made his police station debut.
