‘Seven’ BTS Member Jungkook Receives Platinum Certification.

Platinum Certification for ‘Seven’ is earned by BTS member Jungkook.

The solo single “Seven” by BTS member Jungkook has sold over a million copies, and the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has announced that the song has gained platinum certification. This is in addition to receiving his first gold certification for his song “Left and Right” with Charlie Puth, which was released last year and demonstrated his rising stardom in the US music industry.

Based on the quantity of units sold, the RIAA grades albums. Certifications are given out in the following amounts: Gold for 500,000 units, Platinum for a million units, Multi-Platinum for two million units, and Diamond for ten million units. Digital downloads, streaming of audio and video, and album sales—both physical and digital—are used to calculate the tallies.

In other news, on November 3, Jungkook’s solo album “GOLDEN” was made available worldwide. On Japan’s Oricon chart, they peaked at number one for both the Daily Album and Digital Single rankings, further demonstrating Jungkook’s expanding global appeal. The platinum certification for ‘Seven’ and the popularity of ‘GOLDEN’ indicate that Jungkook’s solo career is off to a promising start.
