G-Dragon, who is suspected of using drugs, had his entire body shaved during a police probe, with the exception of his head.
G-Dragon voluntarily showed up at the Incheon Police Narcotics Crime Investigation Unit on November 6th for what are believed to be drug offenses under the Act on the Management of Narcotics, according to legal sources on November 10th.
At the time, G-Dragon underwent a straightforward reagent test, which was unsuccessful. In an effort to gather G-Dragon’s hair and more body hair for a precise analysis at the National Forensic Service, the police made an attempt. But aside from his hair, he had shaved most of his body.
On November 7th, the police took G-Dragon’s fingernails and hair instead of other body hair and submitted them to the National Institute of Scientific Investigation. They’re waiting on the exact examination’s results right now.
Celebrities that are the subject of drug investigations frequently shave or bleach their hair in order to destroy any evidence.
Park Yoochun, who has been accused of drug use, stated in 2019 that he is innocent and will willingly participate in the investigation.
It was eventually discovered, though, that Park Yoochun—who even went so far as to hold a press conference and maintain his innocence—tried to destroy the evidence by shaving off his body hair.
Park Yoochun later admitted to drug charges, despite the fact that his hair and urine tests revealed negative results. He was given a sentence of 10 months in prison and a two-year suspended sentence at that point.
That being said, G-Dragon’s circumstances differ from Park Yoochun’s. G-Dragon denied having shaved prior to the police probe, saying, “I have always been shaving regularly,” during the investigation.
In fact, G-Dragon was pictured at the airport in April of this year, right before the accusations surfaced, sporting shorts and clean-shaven legs. The majority of his physique seemed extremely smooth in earlier pictures where his legs and other exposed areas were visible.
