One Two’s Oh Chang-hoon Passes Away Today (14th) After Battle With Cancer..Aged 47

Oh Chang-hoon, former member of the South Korean hip-hop duo One Two, died on November 14, 2023, at the age of 47. He had been battling colon cancer since 2022.

Oh Chang-hoon died at Kangbuk Samsung Hospital after suffering from stage 4 colon cancer and neuroendocrine cancer.

12 member Song Ho-beom said in a media interview that day, “Oh Chang-hoon went to heaven at 6:30 this morning,” and added, “(Oh Chang-hoon) was discovered to have stage 4 colon cancer in February of this year. The chemotherapy treatment was effective, but the cancer progressed rapidly. “It was neuroendocrine cancer that was spreading,” he said.

Oh Chang-hoon debuted with Song Ho-beom and the group One Two at JYP Entertainment in 2003 and made his name known with his first album, ‘Now Butt’.

Afterwards, he moved to another agency and released songs such as ‘Thump Jak’, ‘Mean Woman’, ‘Starry Night’, and ‘Walala Lalare’.

Oh Chang-hoon created the producing team A10tion in 2019 and participated in the OST work for the tvN drama ‘Hotel Del Luna’. Oh Chang-hoon also became a hot topic with his surprise appearance in the Netflix original ‘Suriname’, which was released in September last year.

He married a non-celebrity woman 13 years younger than him in September 2019.

Oh Chang-hoon’s funeral will be held in room 7 of the funeral hall at Soonchunhyang University Hospital. His funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on the 16th, and the burial site will be Seongnam Crematorium.
