Industry Experts Select Jennie From BLACKPINK As The Best K-pop Soloist.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie was named the top soloist on the “2023 Entertainment Industry Power People” list, which was just issued by industry insiders.
Recently, to honor different Korean works, actresses, and artists who performed well throughout the year, the economy and entertainment news site JoyNews24 conducted its annual survey with industry professionals.

This led to the creation of the “2023 Entertainment Industry Power People” list. The list presents Korea’s “most powerful people” in various entertainment areas, based on the votes of 200 experts, including those from entertainment agencies, broadcasting stations, film and TV content creators, and entertainment reports.

Unexpectedly, BLACKPINK finished seventh with 9 votes, despite not making any official returns that year. Jennie, on the other hand, received 10 votes, making her the highest ranking soloist on the list. Notably, Jennie is the only soloist to accomplish such a feat in this decade as this is her second appearance on the list.

Lim Young-woong (30 votes) came in second.

NewJeans came in third with 19 votes.

Min Hee-jin (10 votes), Dex (10 votes), and Jennie (10 votes) tied for fourth place.

7th place: 9 votes for BLACKPINK

Eighth position: Lee Hyori (6 votes), Kim Eun-sook (6 votes), Yoo Jae-seok (6 votes), Bang Si-hyuk (6 votes), and Lim Ji-yeon (6 votes)

Song Hye-kyo, Son Seok-gu, Go Yoon-jung, Han So-hee, and Kian84 are in 13th place. 4 votes for each
