Keena Is The Only Member Of FIFTY FIFTY Who Is Still Intact After One Year

Before their global success, FIFTY FIFTY’s song “Cupid” ranked 17th on Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart five months after its launch. After the honor, in June, the organization sought a provisional injunction, alleging that ATTRAKT failed to share settlement data and care for members’ physical and mental wellbeing.

But the court dismissed it in August. FIFTY was denied again after appealing. The members and agency were expected to fight, but Keena returned to ATTRAKT, causing a rift.

After returning, Keena blamed producer Ahn Sung-il of The Givers for the turmoil surrounding their exclusive contracts. After releasing producer Ahn Sung-il’s recording, ATTAKT informed the other members of their exclusive contract termination.

The three insisted on pursuing the legal fight, but the public has turned against them. After reflecting, Keena returned to her agency and attended the Billboard Music Awards as the lone FIFTY FIFTY member. For the first time since the fight, she appeared frightened at the airport but smiled as she left for the US.

For the group’s first anniversary, Keena posted a happy post on its official account and revealed her concept photos. Shio and Aran’s birthdays were celebrated until last month, but the group’s account no longer had their photos.

FIFTY FIFTY was nominated for Top Duo/Group and Top Global K-Pop Song at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on the 19th (local time).
