The National Forensic Service (NFS) recently informed the Incheon Police that a precise study of G-Dragon’s hair found positive reactions for narcotics, according to legal sources on the 20th.
The NFS told the police about the hair analysis before disclosing the nail analysis data.
A preliminary reagent test was performed by the authorities earlier this month as part of their investigation into G-Dragon as a suspect under drug-related statutes, and the results were negative. Later on, more hair and nail samples were gathered for the NFS’s comprehensive examination. Based on hair length, hair analysis can detect drug use within the last year, whereas nail analysis can only reveal usage during the previous five to six months.
Interestingly, G-Dragon shared a picture on social media with the comment “사필귀정” (事必歸正), which is loosely translated as “everything goes back to normal.” The message implied his innocence by saying that everything eventually falls into line with the proper morals.
With hashtags like “Guardians of Daisy” and “Stand with G-Dragon,” his brother-in-law Kim Min-jun and sister Kwon Da-mi showed their support for G-Dragon after his tweet, urging others to do the same.
Even actor Lee Jin Wook, who was the target of unfounded allegations of sexual assault in 2016, expressed admiration for G-Dragon’s message. In his own judicial battle, Lee Jin Wook had stressed the significance of acknowledging the veracity of an accused person’s innocence and the gravity of unfounded allegations.
Celebrities that supported G-Dragon in the midst of the ongoing dispute included Yoon Se-ho, Jang Woo Hyuk, Kim Ina, Tiger JK, and Se7en.
