BTS’s Jimin Gets 4 Nominations. Stray Kids And NewJeans Will Perform At Billboard Tonight.

The ‘2023 Billboard Music Awards,’ one of three main US music awards shows, will be held.

‘2023 Billboard Music Awards’ will take place in MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, USA, on November 20 at 10 a.m. KST. A virtual ceremony will be held this year.

The gala will award 69 categories, including BTS’s Jimin for ‘Top Selling Song’, FIFTY FIFTY for ‘Top Duo/Group’, and NewJeans for ‘Top Billboard Global Artist (outside the USA)’.

Starting with this year’s ceremony, four new K-pop categories were introduced:

‘Top Global K-Pop Artist, Tour, Album, and Song.’

BTS’ Jimin, NewJeans, Stray Kids, TXT, and TWICE are ‘Top Global K-Pop Artist’ nominees. BLACKPINK, BTS’s SUGA, and TWICE are up for the ‘Top K-Pop Tour.’

FIFTY FIFTY’s ‘Cupid,’ Jimin’s ‘Like Crazy,’ Jungkook’s ‘Seven,’ and NewJeans’ ‘Ditto’ and ‘OMG.’ are ‘Top Global K-Pop Song’ candidates

Jimin is nominated for four awards: ‘Top Billboard Global Artist,’ ‘Top Selling Song,’ ‘Top Global K-Pop Artist,’ and ‘Top K-Pop Album.’ His ‘Top Selling Song’ nomination is the first for a K-pop solo artist.

NewJeans were the first K-pop girl group to perform at the ‘Billboard Music Awards,’ while Stray Kids followed BTS.

Stray Kids will perform ‘Thunderous’ from their third album ‘Noeasy’ and ‘ROCK’ from their new album ‘Oddinary.’ NewJeans will perform ‘Super Shy’ and ‘OMG,’ both hit ‘Hot 100.’
