Rocky, A Former Member Of ASTRO Who Is Now A Soloist, Thanks The Fans Who Waited.

Rocky, a former member of ASTRO, has begun performing as a soloist.
Rocky hosted a media showcase for the release of his mini-album “ROCKYST” in Seoul yesterday, November 22. Rocky participated in an interview following his performances of the songs “Chameleon” and “LUCKY ROCKY,” the title tune.

Former member of ASTRO, Rocky started his own agency, ONE FINE DAY Entertainment, in August and started working on his own. By contributing to the production, composition, and lyrics of every song on this album, he showed tremendous improvement.

Rocky, wearing all white, said, “I trained for a long time,” as he took the stage. I can’t wait to share this record with you all.

Rocky added, “There were many trials and errors in document work, choices, and decisions, but I’m confident because I was involved from the beginning to the end of the album,” acknowledging the difficulties of starting his business for the first time.

“As it’s a new beginning, I plan to gradually create my musical color and become a charismatic artist,” Rocky stated in expressing his goals.

When making this record, Rocky gave accessibility top priority. In all honesty, he said, “I wanted my name to be known.” I made an effort to incorporate stuff that both fans and the general public may enjoy.

Rocky thanked the fans that waited for him after leaving ASTRO in February when his exclusive deal with Fantagio expired. “I’m very grateful to the fans who have been waiting and supporting me,” he stated. With gratitude to the fans, I’m pleased to release this album. I hope to keep putting on strong performances in the future.

Rocky was congratulated by ASTRO members on his new starting at the August office opening event.

“Learning what kind of artist I want to be through ASTRO activities is significant,” said Rocky, emphasizing the educational value of ASTRO events. I’m lucky to have members that made up for my flaws.

Rocky considered altering his stage name after declaring a fresh start, but ultimately chose to stick with it. “To be honest, I was apprehensive about changing my stage name,” he admitted. I made the decision to maintain the name after giving it some thought—a name that is loaded with memories and that fans have called thousands of times and still do.

The song’s title track, “LUCKY ROCKY,” is a retro-pop tune that promotes singing and dancing while featuring a funky guitar sound and a groovy saxophone. Tap dancing is one of the musical aspects that define the stage layout.

Rocky identified as an artist who is daring and always pushing the boundaries, saying, “I want to be known as an artist who takes on challenges and completes them well.” My aim is to finish this challenge.

Rocky’s debut solo album, “ROCKYST,” was made available on a number of internet music outlets yesterday at 6 p.m. KST.
