D.O. Was Threatened During A “Swing Kids” Kiss.

D.O (Do Kyung Soo) and Park Hye Soo had a bad kissing scene in “Swing Kids.” Both admitted that the on-screen kiss was funny but agonizing behind the scenes. This seemingly lovely scene was called “dangerous” by D.O.

In “Swing Kids,” D.O and Park Hye Soo accidentally kissed. His character had to kiss Park Hye Soo while being trodden on from behind.

The actor said getting stepped on from the rear hurt his teeth because his face was forced against his co-star’s. Park Hye Soo said this sequence was horrifying and harder than it looked. Rerecording this scene countless of times made her uneasy.

The scenario was designed to convey a lot of unease, but we looked like we liked it or despised it, so we had to film it several times. Park Hye Soo said.

Thank goodness they finished the scene despite the pain. Due to her acting talent and openness, D.O called Park Hye Soo his “younger sister” and said they were able to film in a joyful environment.

“Swing Kids” won three Baeksang and eight Blue Dragon nominations from industry experts, boosting EXO member D.O’s acting career. Since “Swing Kids” was her second picture, Park Hye Soo was honored.
