BTS Jimin’s ‘FACE’ has been ranked as the best solo debut album of 2023 and continues to be a long-term hit on Billboard for 34 consecutive weeks.
Jimin’s first solo album ‘Face’ stood out as the best album on the ‘United World Chart’, selling the most among Korean solo albums that debuted in 2023.
‘United World Chart’ is a weekly global music chart published by ‘Media Traffic’ based on official charts from around the world, weighted according to the size of each country’s music market according to the latest International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) statistics.
Jimin’s ‘Face’, released on March 24, ranked first in the album category, selling 1.106 million copies in the 14th week of the United World Chart (April 8), which is the first album released by a Korean singer so far in 2023. This is the biggest debut record among all solo albums.
In addition, in the second week of its debut (April 15th), ‘Face’ sold 279,000 copies, setting a record of being number one for two consecutive weeks, and also achieved great results in the track category, with the title song ‘Like Crazy’ reaching 14th place. He debuted in second place by earning 387,000 points in the first week, and proved his powerful solo power by rising to second place for two consecutive weeks with 278,000 points in week 15.
