The performance video for NEXZ, the recently established boy group by JYP Entertainment (JYP), has been released.



Through the worldwide “Nizi Project” Season 2 auditions, NEXZ made their debut. ‘Nizi Project’ Season 2 concluded with an announcement of the team name ‘NEXZ’ and the final debut members on JYP’s official YouTube channel and the Japanese online video platform Hulu.

The acronym NEXZ, which stands for “Next Z(G)eneration,” represents the coming together of the people who will inspire the next generation through their performances and music, signaling the start of a new chapter in history. Park Jin-young, ‘Nizi Project’ judge and JYP representative producer, directly created this name. He revealed the meaning behind the group’s moniker when he shared his hope that “NEXZ will open up the future with the new generation” during the introduction of the group’s debut members.
