He’s enrolled as an internal director and completed all CEO requirements. He founded his company on June 23, 2018, before the renewal problem with SM Entertainment (SM) occurred in August 2018. Baekhyun, who renewed his SM contract last year, would conduct’separate yet together’ initiatives through SM and his personal firm. Chen and Xiumin, who share Baekhyun’s goal, are anticipated to join this company.

Last year, Baekhyun announced on Instagram in a live broadcast that SM had agreed to his starting his own firm. He said, “I will be operating a company while staying with SM, and continue to be active with EXO members.” As for borrowing 13 billion won (nearly 9 million US dollars) to create a public corporation, Baekhyun said it was impossible and incorrect. He explained that the borrowed sum was a vow to himself to start his own firm and to constantly carry the weight and manage it well.
