The girl group ITZY, who are expected to make even bigger waves worldwide in 2024, is releasing its new album ‘BORN TO BE’ and its title track ‘UNTOUCHABLE’ on the 8th.
According to a statement from their management JYP Entertainment on the eighth, “ITZY is making a spectacular comeback today with the release of their new mini-album and the title song ‘UNTOUCHABLE’.”
They prove themselves to be strong performers with lots of enthusiasm in each album activity, making them the undisputed “performance queen of K-pop.”
After making their presence known, the group is now thrilling fans all over the world with their new music, which includes the much anticipated “intense taste of fire.”
“After its release, the music videos for the lead single “BORN TO BE” and the b-side song “Mr. Vampire” ranked #1 on YouTube Trending Worldwide, demonstrating the great hopes that both domestic and foreign fans have for ITZY’s next album.
ITZY’s debut album release of 2024, “BORN TO BE,” features the audacious theme, “We will move forward as we want in the wide world unfolding before our eyes.” The album explores a more difficult notion of expressing oneself more freely and overcoming one’s own constraints, moving beyond the group’s primary musical identity, ‘Let’s respect and love myself,’ highlighted since their first effort ‘DALLADALLA’.
A variety of materials have been developed to commemorate with fans the new album’s release and return, maintaining the artist’s quick ascent across the globe.
An hour prior to release, at 5 PM, Melon’s exclusive live ‘Melon Spotlight LIVE’ will tell the comeback narrative; at 7 PM that same day, JYP’s official YouTube channel and Melon’s music platform will concurrently broadcast the countdown live.
