A fan named AKP Staff is attacked by BOYNEXTDOOR’s bodyguard, sparking controversy.
The bodyguard for BOYNEXTDOOR is facing criticism for acting violently against a fan.
On December 18, a number of posts with the names “BOYNEXTDOOR Bodyguard Assault” and “Violence by an Idol Security Guard” appeared on a number of online forums, including Theqoo.
Videos and pictures of a fan following the group at the airport with a camera were posted. A female fan can be seen in the video taking pictures and moving backwards before being forcefully pushed to the ground by a bodyguard. Individuals have also been seen to respond startled and to turn around and glance back.

Commenters on the video on the internet said, “Isn’t that too rough? Is it acceptable for security personnel to use violence in the name of defending the idols? She wasn’t even close to the group. “That’s just violence and venting out,” “It seems like assault to me,” “That’s just abuse,” and “It might have been more serious if she had fallen and injured her head.”
Some countered that a lot of fans these days are going over the line. They said, “These days, Sasaeng fans cross the line a lot, so security guards are likely super sensitive,” as well as “It’s hard to say anything without knowing the full context.”
However, the BOYNEXTDOOR security guard’s disproportionate use of force against a female fan continues to bring attention to him.
Wikitree made an effort to get in touch with BOYNEXTDOOR’s agency, but her attempts were fruitless.
