X:IN, Queenz Eye, and DIGNITY, three of the most promising new K-Pop groups, as well as trot singers Jang Hye Ri (previously of Girl’s Day and bebop) and Yu Soo Hyun of MINIMANI, delighted the stage at the ‘SBTown Music Fiesta’ on May 26 with their spectacular performances. All of the acts performed their own music releases in addition to covers. X:IN performed their song “NO DOUBT,” Queenz Eye performed their song “UN-NORMAL,” DIGNITY performed their upcoming title track “Boyfriend,” Jang Hye Ri performed her bass guitar performance and vocal cover of “I Love It” by Icona Pop, and Yu Soo Hyun performed her first digital single “CHUK & CHAK.” The festival is conducted to mark the 75th anniversary of the relationship between South Korea and the Philippines through shared culture, most notably music. It is hosted by actor and model Sang Hyun Lee, who is more commonly known by his stage name, Danny Lee. SBTown Music Fiesta, Manila Koreatown Association (MAKOTA), and Worldwide Link presented and provided scholarships to students from the PEFTOK Veterans Association (Philippine Expeditionary Force To Korea) in order to commemorate the 75-year friendship between South Korea and the Philippines. This event was held as part of the celebration of this special event. P-Pop stars such as YGIG, Zéla, Darlene, BILIB, and PLUUS were also included on the schedule of performers on the occasion.
