After G-Dragon’s drug scandal, Daesung is also under fire. Daesung’s ‘Hangout with Yoo’ episode on the show’s website and OTT platform was suspended on October 26. You may still watch last week’s clip and next week’s Daesung promo. The show marked his long-awaited return to variety shows.

Daesung’s past scandals are also resurfacing. In July 2019, Daesung discovered 5 illegal entertainment venues in an 8-story building it bought at the end of 2017. From the Gangnam Police Station, 56 entertainment business owners and staff were charged with breaking the Food Sanitation Act and Prostitution Punishment Act. The lack of proof that Daesung knew about the unlawful businesses acquitted him. Though declared innocent, the BIGBANG member’s image suffered, forcing him to stop his activities.

As previously reported, the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s narcotics crime unit booked G-Dragon without detention for breaching the Narcotics Control Act. The Gangnam entertainment business’s arrested head gave the police G-Dragon’s drug-related statements.
