Ahead Of The Group’s First Appearance, Ahyeon Leaves YG Entertainment’s Baby Monster.

Ahyeon, the first member of Baby Monster, a new female group from YG Entertainment, departed the group for private reasons.

It was revealed on November 15 KST that Ahyeon has just quit the squad for personal reasons. Hence, Baby Monster—who had originally planned to make their debut as a seven-piece group—confirmed that they will instead debut as a six-piece group, minus Ahyeon.

Fans previously knew Ahyeon as “BLACKPINK’s Jennie look-alike.” YG Entertainment debuted Ahyeon as a multitalented trainee in February of last year.

YG’s first girl group since BLACKPINK, Baby Monster, is set to make its debut on November 27 KST.
