Amidst An Investigation, G-Dragon’s Hair And Nails Test Negative For Drugs. Police Address Complaints.

As previously reported, G-Dragon, who is the focus of a drug use inquiry, has had tests for drugs in his hair and fingernails, and the findings are still pending. It has been stated that the tests on his fingernails were negative as well. In response to criticism regarding their handling of the case, the police pointed the finger onto the media.

The drug crime investigation unit of the Incheon Police Agency was recently notified by the National Institute of Forensic Science that a thorough examination of G-Dragon’s fingernails revealed the absence of drugs. According to a police spokesman, they had been anticipating these results but were unable to make them public.

The investigation started with a straightforward reagent test, which produced negative results. Next, hair and nail samples were collected for analysis by the National Forensic Service.

The police were criticized for depending only on Ms. A’s statement—an employee of an entertainment facility with a criminal record. Ms. A reported that she discovered suspicious wrapping paper in a washroom that G-Dragon was using, but the artist has questioned her sincerity.

The police defended their inquiry, claiming that the lack of drug traces did not render it inappropriate, even in the face of negative test results. The way the police intend to support their allegations will determine the case’s outcome.
