Astro Departure And The Passing Of Moonbin” Rocky, Over The Rough Waves

Singer Rocky has left the group Astro and embarked on a solo career. After overcoming the big and rough waves, Rocky has become more mature.

Rocky recently held an interview at the Star News headquarters in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to commemorate the release of his first solo mini-album, “ROCKYST”, which was released on November 22.

“ROCKYST” includes a total of 6 songs, including the title track “LUCKY ROCKY”, “Music Is My Life”, “Your Halley”, “Chameleon”, “Volla Mala”, and “Find Me”.

This album is especially meaningful because it is Rocky’s first solo album in his 8th year of debut. Rocky directly carried out all the processes from album planning to production, fully incorporating his musicality.

Rocky made his debut in the music industry as a member of Astro in 2016. He left Astro in February of this year after leaving his former agency, Fantagio. In August, he established a new agency, One Pine Entertainment, and embarked on a solo career in earnest.

Now that he is in his 8th year of debut, Rocky said about his solo debut, “I had a feeling that I would do a solo someday, but I didn’t think I would be doing it so soon. I’m excited and curious. I’m involved in all aspects of production and producing, so there are a lot of things to worry about. I’m having fun with my solo activities.”
