Before the premiere, the trio is enjoying Cannes while juggling their local schedules. A Ryu Seung-wan-directed action-crime movie about Detective Seo Do-cheol, who tirelessly pursues criminals, “Veteran 2” stars Hwang Jung-min and Jung Hae-in. The youngest investigator, Park Sun-woo (Jung Hae-in), joins his Serious Crime Unit to find a serial killer. The Cannes Film Festival’s Midnight Screening segment on May 21st at 12:30 AM local time will premiere this sequel to 2015’s “Veteran,” which grossed 13.41 million viewers. The domestic release schedule for “Veteran 2” will be announced after Cannes.
