B1A4 Sandeul’s manager was the one who hid the camera in Kim Hwan Hee’s changing room.
Sandeul’s label, WM Entertainment, verified the claims on April 17, saying, “We apologize to the actor and her agency, who must have been affected. We recognize the gravity of the situation and will work to stabilize the actor. We apologize to the musical’s cast and team.”
WM Entertainment then fired the manager who installed the covert camera and said it would cooperate with police. Label stated, “The label immediately fired the field manager from the artist’s job after discovering the truth. There was no damage once the performance venue, employee accommodations, and office building the employee entered were investigated. We’ll help the police as much as possible.”
An alleged concealed camera in Kim Hwan Hee’s dressing room went viral last week. The musical actress, who stars in ‘Next to Normal’, reported the discovery at Gangnam Police Station in Seoul on April 9 and revealed the camera was hidden in a sofa in the cast’s dressing area.
Blue Stage, Kim Hwan Hee’s label, stated that the dressing area was used by musical actors to change and shower after performances.
