BDC To Leave Brand New Music After Contract Termination

The group BDC is leaving their agency, Brand New Music.
Brand New Music announced on August 18 that they have mutually agreed to terminate the exclusive contract with BDC members Kim Sihun, Hong Sungjun, and Yoon Junghwan after extensive discussions and consideration.
The statement continued, “BDC will be wrapping up their official activities as a Brand New Music artist with the release of their digital single on August 26 at 6pm. Although our contract with them has ended, we sincerely wish for the members’ continued success and growth, and we will cheer them on for their bright future ahead.”
BDC debuted in 2019 with the single “BOYS DA CAPO”. They also appeared on the JTBC audition program “Peak Time”, which ended in April.

This is Brand New Music.

First of all, I would like to thank the fans who love and support BDC.

We would like to inform you of the official position regarding the termination of the exclusive contracts of group BDC members.

After a long period of in-depth discussion and consideration with BDC members Sihoon Kim, Seongjun Hong, and Jeonghwan Yoon, we mutually agreed to terminate the exclusive contract. Accordingly, BDC will release a digital single to be released at 6:00 pm on August 26th. You will finish your official activities as an artist under Brand New Music.

We would like to express our sincere apologies for delivering such sudden news to the fans who have always supported BDC.

Although the exclusive contract with the company is over, we wish for the members’ remarkable leap and growth in the future, and we will sincerely cheer for the bright future that will unfold before them.
