BTS’s role in the current celebrity drug scandals and adult entertainment industries has beenfuted by Big Hit Music.
Big Hit Music declared on October 26 that “BTS are totally unrelated to the rumors, and they’re not true at all.” We’ll take aggressive action against the careless dissemination of rumors.” Media outlets earlier today reported on reports that BTS members were frequent patrons of the same adult entertainment establishment in Gangnam frequented by Lee Sun Gyun and G-Dragon, who are now under investigation by the police for drug offenses.
It is reported that the shop in question sets their alcohol rates at 10 million won, or $7365.08 USD. Police arrested Lee Sun Gyun and G-Dragon after the company’s head revealed that they used drugs. Simultaneously, suspicions were aroused that a few BTS members were frequent customers of the establishment.
Another statement refuting the rumors was issued by BTS fans, who said, “We’ll take all possible legal measures, including criminal charges and civil damages, without any leniency or tolerance for the spread of false information and defamation.”
