Is JNK1 finally on the way? According to a rumour, an unpublished song bearing the idol’s name has already been registered, boosting great hopes for her return to the music arena.

According to reports, Jennie will make a solo comeback following the renewal of BLACKPINK’s contract.
According to an exclusive piece by TV Report, pundits believe BLACKPINK Jennie will extend her contract with YG Entertainment and that the idol will make a solo return soon.

BLACKPINK celebrated their 7th anniversary with BLINKs on August 8th, and reminisced about the group’s history and growth. BLACKPINK hinted at their wish to remain as a group during their celebration, despite warnings of a “7-Year Curse.”

YG Entertainment, on the other hand, has not taken a formal stance beyond its original statement, which stated:

“The renewal of BLACKPINK is being discussed.”

Nonetheless, music insiders believe BLACKPINK’s future is bright. According to music industry insiders, Jennie’s prospective solo career is also on the cards.

In preparation for her solo return, Jennie’s solo song, “You & Me,” was registered with the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) on August 9.

According to its website, ASCAP is an organisation that helps song authors to get appropriate pay when their music is publicly broadcast.

Because the unpublished song has been registered with ASCAP, there is suspicion that Jennie’s debut solo album may be released shortly.

BLINKs are looking forward to BLACKPINK’s group activities and Jennie’s solo reappearance, despite the fact that it is still in the process of registering for the association.

After all, it’s been a long time since Jennie made her solo debut with her single “SOLO,” released in 2018. Five years had passed, and she had only performed her unreleased song, “You & Me,” on the team’s global tour, heightening fans’ expectations.
