BTS’ Jimin Continues To Rise In Popularity On Pandora In The US And His Songs Continue To Chart On Billboard

BTS’ Jimin continues to achieve long-term success on Billboard’s major charts, shining with his unique popularity on U.S. music service platforms.

Jimin has surpassed 51 million streams on Pandora, a US music streaming service, setting a new record for the most streams by a Korean solo artist on the platform since Psy.

In addition, Jimin has been breaking his own monthly listenership records every day, and on September 9, he surpassed 872,000 to set a new record for the most monthly listeners by a K-pop artist. This is an overwhelming achievement that is unmatched by anyone else, and it is nearly double the 453,000 listeners recorded by his group, BTS.

“Pandora, one of the three major music streaming platforms in the United States along with Spotify and Apple Music, is a service that can only be used in the United States. Jimin is proving his overwhelming popularity and influence in the country by setting unique records as a K-pop solo artist.

Meanwhile, his solo song “Like Crazy,” which surpassed 30 million streams on Pandora on September 13, has been on the Billboard chart in the United States for 24 consecutive weeks since its release six months ago, maintaining its long-term success.

According to the latest Billboard chart on September 16, “Like Crazy” ranked 68th on the “Global 200” chart, where it debuted with the highest sales of any K-pop solo artist in history, and 41st on the “Global (Excluding the United States),” both charts achieving 24 consecutive weeks on the chart.

On the ‘World Album’ chart, ‘FACE’, which set a new record for the longest Korean solo album, ranked 11th this week following last week, breaking the longest record again, along with ‘Top Current Album Sales’, which ranked 98th. It has remained on the charts for 24 consecutive weeks, achieving the best performance among Korean solo albums.

Jimin is known and popular enough to be called ‘Zimmerica’ (Jimin + America). After the release of ‘Like Crazy’, Jimin sold more than 254,000 copies in pure sales in the US in a week, following Taylor Swift and BTS in recent 10th place. It has established itself as the best pop icon by setting numerous records, including ranking 3rd in single-year sales.
