BTS Jungkook Breaks Yet Another Record, Sweeps Charts From The UK To The US [Official]

Jungkook’s “Seven” rose four places to 25th on the UK Official Singles Chart on 11th (local time).

As a result, Jungkook has been in the top ranks for four consecutive weeks since setting a new record for the highest ranking Korean solo artist on the UK Official Singles Chart, with a debut of 3rd in the history of the Korean solo artist’s debut (chart entry).

In addition, “Seven” topped the “Global Top Song” chart for four consecutive weeks on August 10, announced by Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming company. Jungkook is the first Korean singer to hold the top spot on this chart for four consecutive weeks.

Jungkook is also on a record-breaking streak on Spotify’s “Daily Top Song Global” chart. “Seven”, which debuted at number one on the chart, recorded 14 consecutive weeks at number one, but dropped one place on the 15th day and then rebounded to keep the top spot for 13 weeks.

“Seven”, released on the 14th of last month, surpassed 100 million cumulative streams on Spotify in its first week of release, and surpassed 300 million in 23 days, proving its unique popularity.
